About
Attorney Miller has been practicing law for over eleven years and currently serves as a Senior Associate Attorney at Daniels & Taylor, P.C. EDUCATION She obtained her undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Mercer University in Macon, GA in 2002. She obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2007 with a concentration in litigation. Attorney Miller was bestowed with the school's highest award, the Thomas M. Cooley Leadership Award, upon her graduation. EXPERIENCE After completing a two year externship with Judge A. L. Thompson, the former Chief Judge of the Fulton County State Court, Attorney Dix formed the Law Firm of Caycie D. Dix, Esq. where she zealously represented clients in the areas of family law, probate, criminal misdemeanors, civil, and business litigation. PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS Co-founder and past President of NewRock Legal Society and membership in numerous other organizations such as Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys (GABWA), the State Bar of Georgia, Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the National Association of Hearing Officers. COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT Attorney Miller has dedicated her life to being a servant of her community. In 2019, Attorney Miller was appointed to the Board of Appeals in Barrow County where she presently serves as the Vice-Chairperson.
